The cost varies depends on what investigations are needed.

A typical set of blood tests for abdominal pain costs between £500 and £600. You may ask GP to carry out the blood tests. Please refer to cost for individual procedure and tests under heading of “COST” on our webpage.

All investigations are carried out in house except x-ray, MRI scan, CT scan and endoscopy which are carried out at nearby private hospitals.

We aim to carry out the procedures such as skin prick testing and blood tests on the same day where possible. Other investigations such as abdominal ultrasound scan and hydrogen breath test may take 2-5 days to organise. The advantage of your service is we can carry out the investigation a lot quicker than most private healthcare providers.

Most of the blood test results are available within 48 hours. You can view the results in the portal. Results will be discussed during the follow-up consultation. You will be informed earlier if abnormal results need urgent attention.

It is always good idea to let you healthcare insurance provider know that you are seeking for medical consultation. Investigations will need to be approved by the healthcare insurance providers. You will be given an authorisation code. Please be mindful that you need to check with the healthcare insurance provider if you have excess to pay and your maximum covered amount. It is your responsibility to check your eligibility for the investigations as some of investigations may not be covered by the healthcare insurance provider. Most of the healthcare insurance providers recognise our consultants.

The clinic letter will be ready within 5 days. You will be able to access the clinic letter in the portal where you will be given access details. Clinic letter will be sent to your GP.
